Well, I went on a eevee breeding spree, mostly because I'm planning on making an Eeveelution team. SO. There are MOSTLY GOOD natures for the eeveelutions, I'm putting them up to good homes because.... I have a box full of them. No, not kidding. 36 Eevees is too much for me.

There are only 3 females, so you can only have one of them (if you want it) and 3 of the men (Four in total if you want a female, three otherwise). Please no patrat/purlion/lilipup fodder, if it's all you have, I'll accept it, but other wise, something different please? Maybe a Cottenee? or something! Here we go!

Advice?

I apologize beforehand if this isn't allowed, though I'm pretty sure it is.

Anyways, I need some advice from those of you who have played Black/White. I've been team building in Black and am in need of a a good Ground type. I have Tympole right now but a quick look through its movesets shows that it only learns Mud Shot naturally. Seismitoad can learn Earthquake and Bulldoze through TMs, but since its Attack isn't exactly wonderful anyways, I don't know if I should bother.

So, tl;dr: What should I use as a solid Ground type?

For additional information, my team so far is Pignite, Rufflet, Frillish, Blitzle, Deino, and Tympole.

Thanks in advance for the help!

RESOLVED for now!

While playing SS recently, I noticed something interesting.

While in the Battle Hall @ the Battle Frontier, I had on my team the Spearow (now a Fearow) that you got from the guard in Goldenrod (who asks you to give a letter to his sleeping friend near Dark Cave). Apparently, it's a banned Pokemon @_@

Mind you, I wasn't gonna use her to battle (she's for flying purposes), but it got me curious as to why a simple Fearow (of all the pokes out there) can't be used in Battle Hall. I haven't checked with any other Fearow, though.

Does someone have any info on this, or can double-check for me if it also happens in your HG/SS games?

EDIT: Case closed. No conspiracies here! :(

Whoooo..after month's of whining and bitchin' about the Munna C-Gear skin, Nintendo has finally decided to throw us a bone.

A new Pikachu C-Gear skin is now available for download but you need a special password to unlock it. -___-;; The password will be given away at special Pokemon events, but hopefully they can be used more than once. I'll make sure to post the password when I find one. :)

Pokemon newcomers

So, this may seem a stupid question, but: what's the best way of getting a newbie into Pokemon? (the games, that is)

I've often wanted to introduce the games to friends or cousins (read as: yep, I'm so sad I want to get my little cousins addicted so that I have somebody to play with) but it's hardly something you can learn to play overnight - is it?

I've been playing since I can remember, I don't know how I learnt the 'rules' - or the Pokemon. Is it possible to just pick it up, or would I have to guide them through it, or is there a particularly useful online guide I can direct them to...?

I'm sure there are some relative newcomers on here- how d'ya pick it up?

I have an Elekid with Pokerus in my box in Platinum and it's my only Pokemon with the virus. So, I'm trying to spread it to some Pokemon that I'm training. The problem is, no matter what I do it doesn't spread. This is what I've tried:

--I put Elekid in slot 1 and the Pokemon I'm trying to give Pokerus in slot 2. I find a wild Pokemon, send Elekid out, switch to the uninfected Pokemon and defeat the wild Pokemon.
--I do the same arrangement but this time I battle a trainer.
--I go through a whole battle without using Elekid but keeping him next to the Pokemon I want to infect in my party.

Every time, nothing happens. I've done these things at least a dozen times each and whenever I heal my Pokemon, there's no announcement of infection. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance,
<3Billie

p.s. ALSO if a level 100 Pokemon gets Pokerus, does it matter since it can't level anymore?

I got all but 3 packages sent off today. I've marked the shipped ones on Paypal, so if you're interested to see if they are yours, go check your account and purchase status.

I've added more items to my Sales page:
acciolucius.livejournal.com/1457.html

There are many, many new cards added. The TCG area has a link to my keychain page if anyone is interested in commissioning those. There's also some figure I decided to put up for sale, Pokemon and a few non-Pokemon. I may not put any more items for another week or so just so this lot can dwindle down. I will be putting up and starting my Mew Pokedoll auction this weekend, though.

And for some random news: I finally got bitten by the Pokedoll bug. I bought a Snivy last night and Flareon this morning. I'm debating on getting a Jolteon. I don't really need to be spending the money, but they're too darn cute to pass up.
